Terms of Service

Effective date: September 16, 2026

Using Keepsake

Keepsake is a personal service for saving and organizing quotations and related source information. By using Keepsake, you agree to these terms and to use the service lawfully and respectfully.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your authentication account secure. Sign-in is provided through Microsoft Entra External ID and any identity providers enabled in that service. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users.

Your content

You retain ownership of the quote text and metadata you submit. You give Keepsake the limited permission needed to store, display, back up, export, and provide the sharing features you request. You must have the rights needed to submit content and must not use Keepsake to store unlawful, abusive, or malicious material.

Quotes shared with another Keepsake user are viewable by that recipient until you revoke access. You are responsible for choosing what to share. We do not promise that a recipient will not copy or retain content they can view.

Guest mode and availability

Quotes created without signing in are temporary. Guest sessions and their quotes are normally deleted after 24 hours, and you can clear them sooner. Signing in may claim the current guest quotes into your account.

Keepsake is provided on an availability basis and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We do not guarantee that stored content will always be available, so use the export feature to keep your own copy.

Prohibited use

You may not attempt to access another user’s collection, bypass security or rate limits, interfere with the service, or use the service to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published. Questions about these terms should be sent to the service operator using the contact address listed in the Privacy Policy.
